" DJ - M" like many of us, yoyr dash plaque is in error. The grand
total made for 1987 was 479, and your plaque is # 486, because
workers atr the plant took them home & put them on the 'Fridge, their
kids bikes, etc, etc. Your VIN of 248329 actually indicates that
your car was really #425 - out of the 479, or 54th from the final
1987 made.
I visited your web site, pretty impressed, allthough at 55 years old,
I never heard of any of these groups. "My Era" goes bacj to the R&R
of the 60's & 70's & Disco! Today's music I don't like. To me it's
either "Hate-Rap" or steel guitar amplified noise, but hey,
whatever......

The paint on your car is SIKKENS (brand) Jet Black. Black is the
easiest to match, and any black will match. I'd stay with a Ford
Black, but remember, your McLaren is 14 years old, so fading has
occurred! Brand new paint, laid side-by-side with 14 year old paint,
is well.....not gonna match, no matter WHO paints it!!
