Subject: Re: What kind of fuel am I ?
Body:
Try this...Put in a K&N filter ($40) and if it's a fuel injected
motor, remove the air silencer (inside the fender behind the air
box), and then advance the ignition timing. Usually around 15* from
10* (So your advancing the timing 5*), but some cars can go higher.
If the car starts to ping, back the timing back down until it stops
pinging...it might only be to 12*...you'll have to play around with
it. However you must run 93 octane fuel. With these simple and
CHEAP mods, you'll gain anywhere from 10-20 HP...Then install some
pully's (less than $100) and you'll get another 10-20 HP. All these
mods are unnoticeable so it will still look stock. Good Luck and
hopefully you'll get by that damn vette...haha.
See ya,
