In message # 708 a very good source of roofs for our cars was found.

Newark. If anyone is going to buy one of their asc/McLaren
convetrtible tops, and if that person wants to keep the car original
I am herewith listing the ORIGINAL factory color choices, per year!
1984 thru 1987:
Black
Dark Blue
Tan
1988 Adds:
Burgundy
1989 Adds:
Dark Brown
1990 DELETES:
Tan
Dark Brown
1990 Adds:
Oxford White
All of these are available in the noted site. For all except the
Oxford White, use the Stayfast Canvas, the first choice on the banner
listing at the top of the material selection page.
For the Oxford White, see the Pinpoint Vinyl selections, and you'll
find the Oxford White therein. It should be noted that the sew style
of the 1984 thru 1988 is one style, and it changed for 1989 & 1990.
You need to be carfull to select the correct year on the form. I
note that they also have the Aresma Silver (called grey-grey) on the
chart, however while planned, no cars were ever made, but you guys
with Sterling Silver 1990s can "fudge" one, now!!
If anyone wants the interesting story of the proposed 1990 "Silver-
Anniversary" Edition asc/McLaren, ask....
