Welcome, Nelson!! To answer your question, asc/McLaren had a special
machine made. When they removed the roof, then they had this machine
bend the "A" frame WITH the w'shield in place, backward 10 degrees,
for a more lowered, & sporty look. This then required the changing
of the door glass to a sharper angle cut at the "A" post. Also note
that our doors are from that of a T-Top model.....namely frameless!!
Take note that no T-Top was ever offerred on a 2-Dr Sedan LX. FoMoCo
built them FOR asc/McLaren using T-Top doors. asc/McLaren installed
the custom window glass in them, and cut the roof & bent the
windshiled.
