Subject: McLaren Rims for SALE

Okay! Sandy was so kind as to help me determine a fair price for
these rims, so here they are. There up for $500. If I get more than
one person interested we'll take it from there, I'm trying to be
fair. These are 15" ALUMINUM Wheels with ORANGE painted on the
inside portion, they are off of a 84/85/86 McLaren Capri Coupe.
Pictures available in the Yahoo Photo Section in a folder
called "Wheels". Now keep in mind, I am describing these rims as
honestly as possible, please remember that pictures can hide a lot.
I think three of the five need to be repainted (look faded from the
sun, and paint is peeling in some spots). The aluminum is "near"
perfect on four of them, but the fifth one has curb damage (slight
bend on outside edge of rim, don't know if it's repairable), and I
only have three of the four hub caps two of which are good, and the
third is very faded (see picture). The only thing I did to the rims
was clean them with a wheel cleaner, and wash them off with car soap
and water, if I spent some more time I could have polished up the
aluminum better, but I really didn't want to get into all
that! "Made in Italy" (in raised letters) is on the back inner
portion of the rim, and on the front part of the rim around the
center cap (in raised letters also) are the letters "ASC" the
word "McLaren" and two numbers (see pictures). I encourage anyone
who is interested to come and personally look at these rims, but I
have described them to the best of my ability. I live in New
Jersey. If I don't get any serious bites by the weekend
I will put them on Ebay. Thanks for looking.
