I also had a new top installed by a (professional shop) and have a
gap on the right rear. I got the same line that it will strech with
heat. I has been a year in sunny florida and the gap is still there.
the top was NOS made by Electron Tops. I was told they made good
tops. I think It was installed wrong. These pro's also messed up the
cables that run over the door glass. Next time I'll do it my self.

P.S. The 86 I had on Ebay did not make the $5700. reserve. I will let
it go for $5400. for the next 2 weeks. If it doesn't sell it's going
into storage for about 10 years until the value comes back up on
McLarens.
