THANKS, Brent - but sorry, no cigar! (cigarsandy - get it?). I am
very familiar with Sunrise Red, as it was one of my favorites, but
not the same. Sunrise Red is Non Metallic, Coral Red is metallic.
the closest color match to it is a GEO Tracker color of a few years
back, called Magenta. But they are not exact, close, but different.
I am of the belief that Coral Red (a.k.a. Cotton~Candy Pink Pearl"
was a custom mix, made up by SIKKENS for asc. Only 1 such car was
ever made, and it was made up for an executive of asc/McLaren. He
ordered it with the Light & Dark Titanium Grey interior and a White
top, after it was made, he didn't like it & they changed the top to
black. This was not even an available combo, according to the
paint/trim chart issued in 1990. The cars in that color were
supposed to be built with the new-for-1990 Oxford White interior and
the new-for-1990 White Vinyl Roof, and the White asc/McLaren Enkei-82
wheels.
The 3 I can't find codes for are:-
1990: Dino Yellow, Coral Red Metallic
1987/1988: Medium Regatta Blue Metallic
