Subject: Re: [ASC McLaren ] TO KEN & MARQ

Body:
G'day all,

One thing which did not dawn on me, the drawings were for my edification and
therefore I did not label the various components, their function, or their
operation since I already knew what they did. It took all day with a meter
working out the internals and integrating them with the car's electrical
system. It is a rather complicated way to get a toneau secured, and/or
tension the top. Another complicating fact is a fuse that is located under
the dash, and another under the hood, and it all interconnects with the
problematic ignition switch, so I will have to add that as well.

What I will do is go back to the first drawing and provide a legend that
will make it clear what the separate sections are, and explain the theory of
operation. That will make them more understandable to everyone. When I
worked out the wiring, I knew what was what and what it did and did not
consider what a person not intimately familiar with the thing would see.

I will get that done over the next week or so, and when it is scanned in it
will be much easier to understand. I will also have it in the AutoCAD file.

Sorry for the hassle.

Ken
