You can call Ford's Customer Relations Center @ 800-392-3673 and ask for a
"History 999" report on your car. What you will receive is a very nice
printed report detailing the build date, and all the original options that
the car was originally ordered with.
Many people have received a History 999 report on their car and because it
comes directly to them from Ford they think it has to be 100% correct and in
most cases this is true, however these reports are done by hand by a human
being who generates this report by interpreting the data from a list of
codes and abbreviated words so occasionally there are mistakes made. So yes
it is a neat piece of documentation to have for your car but you must also
take it for what it is.
