I went to buy this car. I was told that it is a prototype car. The one they built for 85. I was told that the wheels and scoop and grill are all things that they put on the prototype. The wheels were pretty sweet. They were the style that came on old Saleens, and the centercaps were legit, they were not stickers. The car had core support damage to a pretty bad extent. The car was also owned by teenagers. Therefore, it may be possible that the accident brought about the scoop and grill. The seats were cloth, and apparently not offered in 85. However, I have no clue where this pattern would have came from unless they were recovered lx buckets. The wheels I can not explain. Although, I have talked to Sandy about those wheels, as I have seen them on more than one Capri from 84 and 85.
As for the dash on the 87. My 87 Coupe had that rectangular readout, as well as my buddy's 87 Coupe.
