Congratulations, sounds like you have a "Crimson Cat" model, this is not an asc/McLaren produced car, it was a factory option of the Mercury Capri. It was a one year only edition Capri that is very much like the "Black Magic" Capri's except they were a maroon/red with gold accents. Reportedly there were 805 "Crimson Cat's" made in 1983, very few of these in good condition are known to be around anymore. Take good care of it, it's a "keeper".
