Sandy,
It's funny you mention the car business...my dad has been in the
car business for 40 years (thank god, cause I can't imagine not being
a car freak). I remember growing up wanting to be just like
him...well as college was approacing the folks steered me away from
that cause business is so up and down. All through college however I
worked as a wholesaler with my dad buying and selling, detailing and
and preparing cars for auctions and such, I loved it...college came
and went and I got lucky with a job (through my brother-in-law) as a
Mkt Assistant...well that also came and went...My dad is now doing
very well as a General Manager at a Pontiac, Buick GMC Frnachise in
South Philly but he is even saying business is as bad as he can
remember...I guess I could always go there as a salesman if worse
comes to worse...but I'd like to get something else...I had an
interview 2 weeks ago, but apparently on of the other 11 people they
interviewed got the job...:-(
I'd like to think I'm intelligent well spoken, and clean cut enough
to have gotten something by now but man it's annoying. I sent my
resume today to my sister to put in to her place as they have an
opening in their Mkt. Dept. It's all about commections and knowing
someone right...hopefully this will be it. Anyway, wish me luck...
