I do not know the entire picture. What I do have proof of is that 4
1988s were exported, and strangely out of the New York Port, by a New
Jersey dealer, very near to me. Fette Ford in Clifton, N.J. for
those of you who know the area. There were many more exported in
1989, but I have no numbers. I do know of 8 sent to New Zealand,
home of Bruce mcLaren. I know most of the were converted to Right
Hand Drive down there, at GREAT expense!! That is all I know. I
have on the registry these cars just about all of the world! From
memory:-
Italy, Israel, Geneva, The Netherlands, Canada, England, France,
South America, Mexico, Germany and Saudi Arabia. I know that there
is one (1) apiece in Italy, Israel, Geneva and France. There are 3
in the Netherlands (Holland) and also 3 in England. There is but 1
in Germany, and I found it & it's owner last week!
