It was either 2.73:1 **OR** 3.08:1. 2.73 was the standard equipment.
3.08:1 was a NO CHARGE OPTION for the 1985 V-8 Capri. The
ascMcLaren Sales Build Code of D83 was suppossed to inslude the No
Charge Option of the 3.08:1 - - but I have come across a few units
with the 2.73:1 in them. No, not all of them were early (beginning
of run) cars. Some were, others were not. Who, What, Why or Where
reamins a mystery. MOST are 3.08:1 - but not 100%
