The 1985 & 1986 Capris - both models (GS & RS) came with the
following as STANDARD equipment. Each of these items was OPTIONAL on
the same year Mustangs, and therefore are frequently listed by
oweners as pieces of optional equipment that THEIR car has! (They
ALL have them!):-

* Tilt Steering Wheel
* Light Group (contents listed by Brent in prior post)
* Tinted Glass - All
* Power Windows
* DeLuxe Center Console with warning bank alert lights
* Electric rr. Window Defroster
* Dual (Non-Illuminated) Visor Vanity Mirrors

Factory Options on the RS were few. Among them were:-

* Power Door Locks & Interior Hatch Release
* Speed Control
* Manual Pop-Up Sun Roof (or)
* T-Tops
* 4-Speed Automatic Transmission
* Cassette Player & Premium Audio System
* ascMcLaren Alteration Package

ascMcLaren Installed Option:- $4,212.00 MSRLP

Whistler Spectrum-II Superhetrodyne Remote Integral Radar Detector
$353.00 MSRLP

The "EuroCoupe" Alteration Package, at $3,380.00. IF the EuroCoupe
was chosen, there were add'l. ascMcLaren options of the ascMcLaren
floor mats ($33.00) and the 140 MPH Speed replacing the 85 MPH unit
($88.00).
