Here is what I was able to find out so far. It looks like it 'may' be still alive... CarFAX found it in their database as :
VIN # 1FABP40E8JF215962
It came up with six records on the vehicle - but unfortunately my 'month long' unlimited subscription to CarFax expired yesterday DRAT ! So now they are trying to squeeze me for $14.99 just to run single reports now ( they one month long 'unlimited' subscription every six months - the swines ).
Since the CarFax database also contains insurance writeoffs, there is a slim chance that it may 'no longer be with us' - but I suspect it is still alive and well.
Anyhow, if anyone else has CarFax capabilities at the moment I would appreciate finding out more about what happened to this one lone McLaren,
Tee hee... wouldn't it be funny if the owner of the silver with the blue rag top was watching this discussion ;)
