I did and my painter said the new unit is MUCH better than what was
on there...the original piece was hard brittle plastic (not sure if
thats how it came or if it got that way from age) and the new piece
is more bendy as you say...but it fit perfect and looks good. The
link below is a pic of the new one on my car minus the lower stripes.
