There was a mass big push effort for 1989 to sell cars to dealers.
Alot of things were made for 1989 that were never made for any other
years. Among these items, besides the video, were color chip charts,
key chains, caps, T-Shirts, and stuff on the dealer level that most
people would not understand. Advertisting templates for newspaper
ads, McLaren Specific dealer guides, dealer booklets (for dealers
only) and sales brochures + posters.
By 1990, they had given up and the 1990 "brochure" (as it were) was a
single 8x11 color sheet. It did not even say 1990 on it, but you
knew it was because the pictured car was in Sea Foam Aquamarine - a
new-for-1990 color.
