I actually got a letter from Ford after I requested my build sheet
back in September...
Here is what it says:
Blah...blah...blah...
Decoding of the vin...5.0L...1985...etc...
This vehicle was produced on 01-15-1985 with the following options:
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Locking Rear Axle
P225/60VR15 BSW Tires
Rear Window Defrost and AC
Visibility Light Group
Power Windows
Charcoal Trim
All Around Tinted Glass
...blah...blah...blah...sincerely...some guy
Nothing about asc on it...I wish they would have given me a copy of
the build sheet. The tires are a bit odd too, I guess asc removed
them and added different ones? That would mean that the speedo gear
from Ford would have had to be changed? (maybe a typo?)
One odd thing is that the letter is addressed from "Dearborn, MI"
but has Canadian postage.
