It sounds like your car was built very early. The Kenwood was
supposed to be in the early 1985's. Have you had the car since
new? I wonder if the radio had a problem and was swapped out for
the newer one later in the year. Seems odd that you have the
Kenwood manual and a build date where you should get the
Kenwood...but yet you have the Alpine.
Maybe Sandy can shed some light on that.
Btw, (if Sandy is reading) what dates were these cars built? It
would be nice to put that in a list in the files section.
