Yes, except that one is a regular production GN and not a GNX.
 
Not quite the same but kind of like buying a Coupe and a EuroCoupe and driving the wheels off of the EuroCoupe while keeping the Coupe in storage. :-)
 
Like you said though, must be nice.

So one was the 'keeper' and the other was the 'driver'.   Must be nice to have the money
