Actually...

In 1983, the 5 speed was a mid year change over when T5s became available.
I've seen RS's come with 4 speeds and 5 speeds depending on the date of
manufacture in 1983. In 1984 the 4 speed was a "delete/credit" option I
believe. You could delete the 5 speed and get a 4 speed and some credit.

As far as I know, no GSs in 84 got the air dam unless someone added it
after the factory, and there were no 5.0 GS cars in 84. In 85 there were
some, in 86 that's all there was...unless you got the car from Canada and
then you could get an RS.

This car is an RS.
