Your tale of the 'revenge of the Cherokee' touched a part of my past as well. Two of my friends had just received word that they had been drafted to play professional football. So we decided to go out for a few drinks to celebrate. One of our friends owned the 'trendiest' nightclub in town and we were honored to be able to park in the private lot reserved for the bar. At the time I was driving a factory fresh 1970 Cougar Eliminator - and since I know you are an old Ford / Mercury fan I suspect you can appreciate the uniqueness of that vehicle at the time. Anyhow, we pulled into a spot and before we could open the doors to get out a lovely fresh Z28 snorted into the parking spot next to us and flew open their doors. Indeed they hit the body of the Eliminator. So the three of us got out of the Eliminator ( with Paul standing at 6' 5' and Lyndon standing at 6' 6' - and me at a weenie 6' 2" ). Unfortunately the occupants of the white Z28 were all girls - girls with a filthy mouth and a poor attitude. They let loose a verbal barrage that would have left a sailor blushing. They then laughed and ran to the nightclub. Well... suffice to say that their Z28 was demolished as it sat there. We kicked out the tail lights, the mirrors, antenna, headlights, and inflicted the full brunt of damage that our size could impact on just about every body part of that Z28. We then hopped back into the Eliminator and drove off to a strip joint that another of our friends owned. So I can appreciate your moment of 'parking lot rage' - as I have been there myself in my younger days. The part that always brings a smile to my face - even these many years later, is trying to imagine the look of those beeotches when they finally left the bar and saw the tornado of damage that had been inflicted on their Z28. I would love to have seen how their insurance claims adjuster worked out the repair bill on that one ;)

he he. Anyhow, like a bad check, he's back this year, for "Round
Two" ~ I'll keep 'ya posted. Wait till he sees the Silver McLaren!

He actually likes me! I ALWAYS take him & his worker a cold can of
Soda (POP for you other guys)! He said nobody ever does that for
them, but me! Then, 2 weeks later I fired him! But I called him
back this year and I ate a big piece of tasty humble pie!
