There was a Federal Emissions Recall on 5.0L Mustangs, but I do not know what year(s) were affected. The recall covered the replacement of the H-Pipe, something to do with the converters not working as they should.
Take your Vin # to the service department at your Ford dealership and ask them to run it through their "Oasis" machine and print out the report for you.
It will list and recalls that have been performed and also any recall work that is still outstanding.
The service technician at the Ford dealership is required by law to place the recall decal in plain sight when the hood is opened and the fan shroud on the Mustangs is where they usually are applied.
I'll bet that the h-pipe on your car was replaced due to a recall.

I am still wondering if there were any cam or exhaust modifications done by ascmclaren. The reason I am asking is because there is a Ford sticker on top of the fan shroud that states "Exhaust system catalyst inspected and replaced" Emissions recall, recall number 91e13." I am just curious why it was recalled and what did they do to fix it. I am also curious why the belt itself on my seat belt is blue with a tan covering from the floor and the shoulder belt is tan which is the color of the interior. Any info you guys could give would be appreciated.
