Subject: 1986 Mclaren convertible

Body:
The car I am looking at is a 1986 Convertible. The serial number on
the car was 86-0045 (or 86-0046), couldn't accuratly tell at night.
Can anyone tell me anything about this car or is the VIN number
needed?
The car runs good, but needs a lot of TLC. Has anyone ever installed
a rollbar or light bar like can be installed in a mustang
convertible? Also, if I were to find and install options that were
available, but not installed on this car, would that lower its
value. If I do get this car, I plan on using it as a driver instead
of a show queen.
