2 indicates 5 speed '84-'87, W would indicate 5 speed for '88, and a
T would indicate an aod automatic for '84-'92.
The BBBB part I have yet to decipher, most mustangs I've seen are
like my '89 ssp coupe where it is 2PPSS. I haven't seen all 4
letters the same. I have seen reference to the letters also being
spring codes, can't verify.
