Yes, it's correct. It's a "transistion" car. Early cars had the
1987 center console, which is what you see. Later 1988s had the
restyled center console, that lived on thru the 1989s & 1990s.
It's "transistion" because it also has the new-style POWER exterior
mirrors, which became standard mid-year 1988. It may also be
possible to some day find a REMOTE (Non-Power) mirror car (mirrors
mounted on the "A" pillar) WITH the NEW console, as they ran out of
different COLOR consoles at different times, and used up what they
had, before installing the new style. I have found several in each
possible combination.
