Of the 65 1990 ascMcLarens made, a mere 5 (five) were 5-Speeds, and
of the 247 1989s, only 38 were 5-Speeds. The penetration level of 5-
Speeds was the highest among thr 1988, where 282 of the 1,015 were 5-
Speeds. Sorry, I don't have the #s for 1987. It's kinda hard to
find, BUT not impossible! Good Luck.
The "idea" behind the car was more of a boulavard cruiser than a drag
strip or 1-60 & 1/4 time emphases car, thusly automatics did prevail,
whereas on Saleens the 5-Speed is the favorite.
