Re: [ASC McLaren ] '86 Coupe on eBay

I checked it out on the ascMcLaren master listing. It's ascMcLaren
product code was (is) MCEC which stood for McLaren Capri EuroCoupe,
so it was originally a EuroCoupe. A Non-EuroCoupe was coded MCFP for
McLaren Capri Full Packaged. Of the 47 EuroCoupes, it was # 37. It
was 1 of 11 in "Smoke Grey Metallic" ~ Sorry, I cannot explain why
the Full Packaged striping appears on this EuroCoupe, possibly the
dealer or past or present owner "upgrade" ~
Get 4 wheels, center caps & chrome lug nuts, 1/4 window black out
plexiglass and the track it resides in, a rivit gun to install it and
the 6 black out vent plugs and you've got a FP unit, except that it's
sitting to high as it lacks the 50/50 Carrera Shocks, & McLaren
Springs. A little work like that, & I'd be fooled!
