Re: # 3268, WHAT makes a Grand Marquis an "old man's car" ? My
neighbor has one & he is 37 years old. My letter carrier has one
also, and he is 32 years old, and the guy at the 7-11 that I stop at
owns one & he is 48 years old.
To me, the Mercedes S Class is an old man's car, because it costs
like $85,000 and not many "young" men can afford that. Is the
Pontiac Bonneville an old man's car??? How about the Cadillac
Seville or the Chrysler Concorde? What makes it an old man's car?
My dentist is 57 years of age & drives a 2003 Corvette Coupe. Is
that bad? Should HE be in a Grand Marquis? Should I tell him?
I am 56 and drive a new 2003 Town Car. Since age 22 I have owned
either Cadillacs (3) Imperials (6) or Lincolns (3) as I have always
loved luxury cars, and did not attach any age limit or barrier to
their purchase. Is it bad for someone over 50 (if THATs "OLD") to
drive a 'Vette? Is it bad for someone 27 to drive a Crown Victoria?
I NEED to know these things, as I'd like to buy a Corvette when I hit
60.
