Body:
I ended up with the Kuhmo tires from Korea.   They seem pretty good and their price is highly highly competitive.

I went a litte away from stock on my tires though.  I ended up with 245 X 50 X 15.  Yes it does drop my car yet another 1/2 inch lower to the ground, but it makes the rims appear even deeper.  Also the look of the car from behind is like a Corvette, laying all that extra footprint of rubber down on the pavement.
.
Here is the page where the specs and pics of my tire are shown :

How competitive a price were those tires ?   I got mine for $100 (US$) each INSTALLED and that included the wheel balancing and chrome valves

But the whole Kumho product line is pretty good and they are giving a bigger bang for the buck than the other brands.

If you go to the following link you can check out the rest of the product line

Unfortunately the Goodyears and the Michellin tires that I looked at had too noisy a tread

Subject: [ASC McLaren ] Tire Recommendations?

All,

Looking to put some new skins on my Paris Blue 89. Any suggestions?
I'm sticking with the stock 225-60R15 size.

Tks,

Eric
