I've seen them there as well. They're values are too high for cars
that are "tired-out" and much too low for exceptional examples. I
paid $20,000 for my 1990 exactly a year ago, this week. Righjt after
that, one sold for $22,500 in Texas. My example had 7,200 miles, the
Texas car had under 8,000. Both were brand new showroom condition.
Others with under 15,000 have sold in the very high teens.
(Mustangs) I also know of a Capri ascMcLaren Coupe that sold for
$14,250 this summer! I was offerred $20,000 for my coupe. Okay, it
has 566 miles on it, but the value guides are figuring the cars with
10,000 miles per year on them, so a 1986 Coupe would be figured at
180,000 miles or so.......
