In response to Brent Abrams request, I searched my HDD and found I
had the original post squirreled it away:
Alloy Metal products sells new engine wiring harnesses for 1985 GT 5-
spd cars (Carb'd). Anybody who owns one of these cars knows how
brittle the insulation can get and cause electrical gremlins. I
personally have ordered and installed one and can attest to the
quality. The company manufactures wiring harnesses directly for the
Automotive and Defense industry. According to the owner they are not
aftermarket but OEM and manufactured using original Ford tooling. I
just spoke with Ken via e-mail and he stated that he modified one
for use on an '84 GT and could probably manufacture a small run of
those as well if demand were high enough.
