Hello all,
My name is Michael and I purchased a 1986 ASC McLaren #049 earlier
this year.
After talking with Sandy about the car and hearing about its limited
availablility I decided to see if anyone want to purchase the car
whole before it is stripped for parts.
I bought the car site unseen for use on a Factory 5 kit car. Only
after I took delivery did I realize that this car might be worth more
to someone that likes this type of car.
The car is a 1986 model hatchback. It is white in color with orange
strips and is in poor condition. The front windshield is gone and
time and elements made the interior terrible. The driver door and
fender are dented and the front and rear skirt on the car are
gone/destroyed.
Enough of what is bad, onto the good:
Car runs and drives.
All four headlight/tailights are on the car.
All four Side Rear window treatments are there. One big one that
covers the window and the three smaller ones.
The rear glass and rear spoiler intacted and in good condition.
The air horn works.
The radar detector is there, no wires are attached to the back so
unless you can tell me which one is negative/power and such, I cannot
verify if it works or not.
Car is a 5 spd.
Car does have Cruise Control. Sandy told me that was not an option,
but it is on this car and looks good.
All four rims are there, one is missing its center cap.
Dash plate is there on the dash.
Car does NOT have a title. Can get if you need.
As I said before looking to sell the entire car if someone is
