Went to the show. Going it was very cloudy & threatening. After
arriving it cleared and slowly the sun came out & it got ~~HOT~~.
Our leader was there with his stunning 1989 Paris Blue McLaren! It
looked awesome! There cars there were really great. About 75 or so.
One knockout was a 1999 Saleen Speedster Ragtop in Brilliant Blue,
with light bar, tonneau cover and all the options, as day 1 perfect.
A End of the Run 1998 Mark VIII Collector's~Edition and lots & lots
of 1965-1968 Mustangs in every color size & shape. Beautiful
dealership, almost "park-like" scenery and not overcrowded. Music,
noshes and open showroom to go to the rest rooms. At 3PM when they
were about to give out the awards (it was judged) the clouds opened
up and a terrific thunderstorm and it was a sight to see about 45
convertible tops going up in unison! After everybody buttoned up and
everyone got drenched, it stopped as fast as it began, and er were on
the 26 miles ride home. No, I didn't take my McLarens as I knew it
would pour at some point, and just as well as I would not wanna go
against Eric, and steal his audience away from his beautiful Paris
Blue. It's really a purr-fect example, and I woulda had my work cut
out for me going against such a beauty. Hey, Eric....Post a photo of
