Yeah, I think you understand my intent.
Thing is, alot of people don't remember or have never seen a Capri so
you could probably get away with something like a Mustang hatch on a
Capri and most people wouldn't even know. Subtle things like the
sail panels and mouldings would go even lower on the radar.
But when you run across one of us, we'll spot it :-)
Its just those exterior pieces that are Capri specific will lose you
points at a show with judges who really know Fords. A judge isn't
going to know you replaced your Capri's windshield with one from a
Mustang but he will notice the hood or the hatch.
