It sounds like you are referring to the Ford seat belt window decal that was
installed on all Ford, Lincoln & Mercury vehicles from 1978 to the early
nineties as a safety campaign to remind people to use their seat belts.
There were two different styles made, the first generation decal was a long
rectangular one that read "Get It Together", this one was used from
1978-1985.
For 1986 it was redesigned and was a larger taller rectangle and read
"Together Can Save Lives" and a small Ford Oval logo was also incorporated
into the design, this decal was used from 1986 on.
Both of these decals are available through the larger restoration companies
out there for about $3.00 each.

Finally raised the drivers window on the '87 McLaren we picked up in
Vegas a couple of months ago. There is a large decal by the door lock
knob about the use of seat belts. It is in really nice shape, but
doesn't have any name on it. Is it stock from ASC? If so, should I
leave it on when we get the windows tinted?
