Re: [ASC McLaren ] Re: Window Decal Question

It depends on where you are from, here in Michigan it is illegal to tint the
front or driver & passenger windows except for a 4" strip at the top of the
window and the local law enforcement WILL give you a ticket for it AND make
you show up at the station for an inspection within a week to make sure it
was removed.
Where I live there aren't many car-jackings or anything like that, plus for
me, my car is in the garage out of harms way 90% of the time.

Subject: [ASC McLaren ] Re: Window Decal Questiontinting the windows is almost always a must, especially for those of
you that keep your rides stock. it saves the interior color, keeps
your leather from crackin and being blistering hot, saves your eyes,
may save your stereo or other contents in the car, prevents car
jackings(no one in their right mind is gonna try to jack a car if
they dont know who is driving it, could be a 300 lb cop), and im
willing to bet that it would cut down on people road raging against
you(again, could be a 300lb cop driving). window tint can be easily
removed and replaced at any time without any damage to the
vehicle... all i see are positives here. so in my opinion tint
away.
