If originality isn't paramount, I would go with the 130 amp

from a '94-'95 GT. PIECE OF CAKE modification.

I bought the kit from www.pa-performance.com and it all

went without a hitch. I'm of "modest" mechanical abilities,

too!

As I see it, you have at least two choices, maybe
four. First you need to decide how "original" you want
your car to be.

If originality is important to you:
Best option is to find a New Old Stock (NOS) Ford
alternator.

Second best would be to have yours rebuilt at a local
shop. We have one in my town with same day turn around
on almost any alternator or starter. Very handy in by
British car days.

Third would be a rebuilt unit from Autozone, PepBoys,
etc.

Now, if originality isn't of utmost concern, and you
have someone with a little mechanical/electrical
know-how, swapping in a 130amp alternator for a '94 or
'95 Mustang is very simple. Here's a great explanation
