Since asc/Mclaren seems to have used mostly off-the-shelf
Ford parts, I'd suspect that the harder bushings might be
the "police/taxi" spec upper control arm bushings in the
rear upper control arms.

these bushings? Which bushings were replaced? By whom?
How much stiffer? Different material (ie, urethane)?
