I did some more looking, and it appears that the "Super Sports" spring kit
#M-5500-C" has not changed since it first came out in the 1985 Ford
Motorsport catalog.
They didn't list the rates in the '85 or '86 catalog but the 1987 catalog
lists the front springs as 650 lbs./in. and the rear as a progressive
200/300 lbs./in. spring.
And these specifications are the same all the way up to the current 2004
catalog.

'85 Coupe I can take some measurements and determine
if they are the same spring.
As for bushings, it seems we've come to focus only on
the rear upper control arms. Is there any possibility
that front control arm bushings were changed?
Due to the way the stock suspsension was designed to
work I would be extremely surprised if the rear lower
control arm bushings were changed. Stiffer bushings
here generally hurt performance.
In part I think it's important to know who made the
changes. If they were made at Dearborn I'm sure they
must be Ford parts, if ASC did it, they could
potentially be anything.
