Is it a early CFI 5.0 (150HP) or a later SFI 5.0 (200HP) . I don't
think 86 was a good year for computers. I have had 2 go bad in 2
different (SFI) cars, both had differnt problems caused from the EEC-
IV and when replaced fixed the cars.
Both cars had less than 75k on the clock. I got new cpu's at autozone
for about $100.00 exchange.
