My 85 coupe (and alot of others) have the 85 MPH speedo. It was a hit or miss thing in 85.
I don't know about my tach...never checked it.
My car also came with the single "Y-Pipe" exhaust that was standard that year for that car. I firmly do not believe that my car ever had duel exhaust. There was every sign that the drive train was never touched in that area. Your car only helps confirm this for me. You would need to scrounge another 85 V8 YPipe system in a jy to put it back since that was the only year they had it and Ford does not have those parts available anymore. Or for better performance and probably cost get the double hump for now.
The tie rod tips would be a Ford item from the TBirds of that era that had a turbo engine. But its a good question on the year, I don't know if there were any changes during the years for that car.
The tires you list should be correct. Asc went with very low profile tires. When I got my car I think they were wearing: P225 60 R15
Which are higher and make your speedo off.
