im not sure if the original color was hot yellow but from the chips in the paint i see yellow and whenever i look under the exterior window trim i see yellow and the engine bay screws are painted red along with the body so im thinkign the origianl owner had it painted at a cheap paint shop...is there any way i can find out its original color with my vin number?

Dearborn Assembly Plant, built specificaly to become an '88
ascMcLaren, under build code "D32" ~ 552 before it & another 492
after it, it was just about in the middle.
