Personally I wouldn't go any larger than 2.5", you may be able to physically
fit it in there but I think it would be very close and most likely rub
against each other.
Just my opinion though. :)

am looking VERY hard at the magnaflow cat-back system. Only thing
is, their systems come with 3" exhaust stainless tips. Will this
clear the cut-outs on my 85 Coupe, or are they going to cause a
problem. I don't think heat is an issue. Exhaust isn't very hot by
the time it gets to the tailpipes. My major concern is size..
Anyone ever done this? Any opinions welcomed...
