Thats along the lines of what I feel.
If I got a new 2005 stang, it'd be an attention grabber for like 6
months. Then when the streets are flooded with them, it won't be
special anymore.
My asc will be special EVERY DAY! and getting even more specialer as
each day goes on! They aren't making any more asc coupes...but their
gonna make a crap load of the new stangs.
Besides, wait until the third year when they start to announce the
really COOL models (Mach, Boss, Bullit, Cobra, Saleen, Roush, etc).
It'll make your 2005 GT look like the hairdressor model (V6).

distinctive look. At 40k miles and bright red ( does have 17" chrome
wheels) it looks super. Besides if there are any late 80s 'stang
ragtops left - they are generally pretty ratty or just plain junk.
