I went to see my '86 coupe today. The fan is off-white (cream
colored) plastic.

If you ever want to re-paint your silver/dk. blue top McLaren the
paint color on it is the 1983 Ford Escort code 1Q Silver Clearcoat
Metallic.

That's the color on my 1990, with a black top & Scarlet interior.
Certainly NOT the color I would have picked, bt what is/was on it.
(If I had the choice, I would gone with the "new-for'90" "Snowball
Edition" !!)
