Re: [ASC McLaren ] Re: 85 McLaren on ebay

Well, I went and looked at the 85 in Vegas, and the car is in very good shape, and the Recaros are as close to new new as you can get. the kick pannels in the car are typical for any blue interior mustang/capri (my 89 mustang coupe had the same problem and it slowly discolored from the Heat in Denver) The rust under the hard cover is from the clips on the rubber seal, also a typical issue on mustangs that have wash and park days. The car is is all original and a local car it's whole life that was garaged until recently when the original owner traded it in on something new, and from what I was told, the car sat on a dealers lot for several months because nobody there knew what the car was (and due to the fact that it is almost 20 years new. ^*^) there is a tear in the center of the rear storage console, the woodgrain on the dash above the glove box is original and starting to curl away from the plastic it was glued to, and the windshield trim piece has small stress cracks in the corners, and the rear facia is starting to show a little fatigue, from groceries or golf bags resting on it. This car would be a real good starting point as a driver that COULD be showable with very little work. So those of you intrested might want to watch this car. Just my .02 cents worth. See ya all later.
