Coupe Stripe Question
I always thought that my '85 Coupe was striped wrong when it was repainted. The stripes extend forward from the logo onto the front fenders and wrap around the front.
I just noticed in Tom S.'s Fotki album, pics 80 - 91 show an '85 with these same stripes. The car also has a hood scoop so perhaps it was repainted as well.
Is it just a coincidence that these two cars have the same "wrong" striping? Or did some cars come this way? If it's any kind of clue, mine also has the 85mph speedo.
