Nelson,

The newsgroup I moderate the individual has to apply to the group
and we either accept or deny their application. I am very suspicious
of strange names, new accounts, but if I have no real reason to ban
them I will watch and see what turns out. I mean like I said before
I can always delete their posts for the protection of the group and
ban them from using that account again. Sure they can make a new
email address thats life, but I will not allow them to damage or
disturb the group and they will get banned time and time again.

That is how long the "new" status lasts.
